Job Description:
Prato 850 is looking for friendly, energetic, and motivated servers to join our team!
Located in Commack, NY, Prato 850 is an Italian-inspired, American-driven gastropub known for wood-fired pizza, craft beer, signature cocktails, and a lively dining atmosphere.
We're looking for team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy connecting with guests, and take pride in providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and drink offerings.
- Ensure tables and dining areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Process guest payments accurately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive dining experience.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must meet New York State requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
